Tymit selects Cambrist’s Notify API for CBPR2 compliance

Cambrist, one of Ireland’s leading fintech companies, and Tymit, an innovative new credit card provider in the UK, have launched an API based compliance solution for the European crossborder payment (CBPR2) regulation.

Cambrist’s Notify API solution provides a single connection from which Tymit can access all of the exchange rates and calculations required for compliance with the CBPR2 (EU2019/518) regulations.

It centrally aggregates card scheme and ECB foreign currency rates, provides automated cost comparison to ECB currency rates, identifies CBPR2 relevant transactions, issues the required electronic message to cardholders and provides the reporting and analysis to demonstrate compliance to the authorities. Notify can be accessed via API or alternative methods as required by client.
