Cambrist have processed over $1 Billion USD in FX

Cambrist’s award winning data processing platform has now processed over US$1bn in issuer crossborder payment transactions since the platform’s official launch in 2019. Working with clients & partner across Europe & Africa, Cambrist’s platform is used by Banks & Fintechs to deliver advanced back-office efficiencies associated with currency wallets, card scheme settlement, reconciliation and reporting for debit and credit card programmes. Reaching US$1bn in processing volume is a significant milestone which reflects the growing demand from issuer card programmes and their customers for innovative crossborder payments functionality.

International card spend has rebounded since the Covid-19 pandemic, reaching a >40% higher volume than the pre-pandemic period and becoming a significant revenue driver for Banks & Fintechs. Cambrist’s platform specialises in international, cross-currency card spend, providing a flexible, low-cost platform upon which card issuers can seamlessly build new FX functionality for their card programmes.

Jacob Claflin, Cambrist’s Founder & CEO said: “Cambrist was founded with the mission and vision to bring advanced FX solutions to card issuers around the globe. Since the launch of our platform in 2020, we have now processed over US$1bn in cross-border card transactions and achieved an important milestone for the business. But more importantly, we expect to process the next billion in 2023 as our growth accelerates in line with international payments around the world and a clear demand from issuers to bring more crossborder value & functionality to their card programmes.”
